Hello, my name is Rita Shafir. 

13 years ago i finished high school majoring visual communication. After graduation i wasn't sure what i wanted to do with my life. I received a stills camera as a gift when i was about 21 years old and since then i fell in love in photography and i had decided to learn photography on my own. At 25 I began my studies at Avni Institute in Israel majoring visual communication.

 

Some of my photographs took part in a group exhibition in LGBT organization in Tel aviv, Israel. Also, one of my photographs took part in the book "You Were not Born a Woman" by the Israeli poet and editor Riky Cohen. One of my artwork has been selected to take part in a Conceptual Book publication by LoosenArt.
